🧡💛 my client Audrey brought me a book once, one filled with poetry. One could say it was a way to get a deeper understanding of the thoughts behind her projects, as they all had some sort of connection. As much as I don’t read poetry often myself, as soon as I opened the book I got stuck.. it was so captivating and beautiful, very grateful for the gift..
I think it just was such a reflection of her.

It’s a wrap! 💘 THANK YOU to everyone who shared, supported and laughed with me during my 3.5 years in Atelier Klart. This has definitely been one of my favorite chapters and thankful for all that it gave me. The creative moments, the incredible conversations and encounters with strangers, some of you leaving as beautiful new friendships. Also thankful for the a bit more challenging lessons, in particular the more lonely ones (everyone who works on their own knows what it can be) I have learnt a lot and I taking all the experiences and lessons with me in to the next page of my book of life.

Tattoo number 4 was this lil buttery butterfly for Mon 💕 and I had NO pain, slight discomfort but no pain - the most important. I can notice how I still need to get used to holding the machine again and to the sensation of tattooing, but it’ll feel normal soon again I am sure 🙈☺️ I am super happy to see how it feels week by week, as we slowly get back to it. Thank you for following my journey xx

Third tattoo ��💓 … (and this is big news!) - WITH NO PAIN.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of tattooing birthday bean and babe Nina, and I can’t believe I had no pain. I actually changed my grip and maybe it made a big difference, will see if it stays painfree for tattoo number 4 next week, we go a bit bigger and longer each week.

Yesterday it was time for my first tattoo since my operation. A six month break since August when I did a ligament reconstruction in my right thumb. An injury caused from overworking and three years of not quite listening to my body. I am beyond grateful that it was a successful operation.
It’s been a very long recovery and we still have a bit to go me and my thumb. It’s been quite the journey.

I could feel pain during this tattoo but believe it was the joint unused to the grip and movement of tattooing and that I need to strengthen the muscles around it.
I will get there bit by bit one tattoo at a time. 👍🏼💕

Thank you for your immense love and support and not to say the least - patience. My bookings are open and I am currently working through my emails and waiting list. Thanks for holding out a little longer - hopefully soon we meet for a lovely project together.
